Companion Conversations

60 minutes

$100 / $120 / $150

These sessions are for

  • Neurokin - one of my favourite words which means others who share my Neurotype ie. Autistic and / or ADHDers - to reflect, debrief, ponder, rage, celebrate Life … our sessions can be directly related to our Neurodivergence and / or not

  • Those questioning, wondering, exploring their Neurotype who would like support in the way of someone to sit / listen alongside

  • Parents of kids who are on the journey of exploring and / or supporting their Neurosparkly kids who would like support in the way of someone to sit / listen to you

In these sessions I won’t give you advice. That is either a great relief or hugely off-putting.

I am not a Counsellor. I am not a Doctor.

I am a great listener. I am Autistic and an ADHDer and a Mum to kids who are Autistic, ADHD, PDA. I am a new Homeschooler and have kids in mainstream school. I am on medication and so are my kids. I meditate sporadically. For more of what I bring, please read the About Me bit - what I want you to know is that I am a gnarly, real, hugely imperfect person who will meet you where you are.

What I will do is listen, ask gentle questions, reflect back what I hear and share my experiences and resources when helpful.

Through these companioning conversations we remember that we don’t have to do it alone.

These sessions are available as a one-off or as a regular weekly / fortnightly / monthly / seasonal session. There is beauty and spaciousness in all the ways.

Please send me an email to find a time that works for us both; my weeks change so often that it is not possible to put up a calendar and get you to book in. Generally, I am able to do weekdays during the day and early evenings.

You will see 3 prices listed - these sessions are $120 / hour. However I offer a lower price for those who are experiencing economic hardship and a higher price for those who are able to pay it forward. Please choose the price that is possible for you today.

In the future I would like to find ways to offer these sessions for less as I know how financially taxing and emotionally challenging it can be to live with a disability and / or to be caring for kids with a disability which makes these Companion Conversations all the more important to be accessible. And / but, I find myself in this position too and so am pricing my sessions to tend to your needs and mine and my family’s as best as I can in this season.

Tapping (EFT)

Tapping - or EFT - is a simple stress management tool. I use this for myself and in the past taught workshops and classes. While I am not holding these currently, I am happy to weave tapping into our sessions if that is something that you would like.

For 18 months, I held a free morning tapping sessions on social media twice a week. You can still view these on Instagram to get a feeling for the type of tapping I practice and as something you can access at any time you might need to just slow life down a little.

Speaking and Consulting

I love to speak … to share stories … to share the wisdom that I have collected over 43 years of life. I would love to come together on your podcast, to be part of your retreat line up, to share my experience as an AuDHDer, to help make your event or school more Neuro-welcoming.

I have stories and wisdom to share about

  • Realising I was Autistic and ADHD at 42 years and why I am all for labels

  • Our experience of School Can’t and moving to Home Schooling

  • My experience of 3 bouts of Post Natal Depression which I am now wondering “was this Autistic Burnout?!”

  • Creating spaces which are more welcoming and inclusive and possible - for example, setting up a Quite Space at the kids’ primary school - we had so many kids come and hang out - there was water and craft and fidgets and puzzles and games. So many people were happy to find they could be part of the night even though loud events are really hard for them.

  • Holding Space - for myself and others

  • SPACIOUS - the card deck … and how audacious it is to call myself a creator and writer

  • Please know, that diversity and inclusion are deeply important to me. I want to be part of communities and discussions which value this too. This means no all-white line ups, as a bare minimum.
